Diagnosis

Diagnosis: Tinnitus and Hyperacusis.
Suggest: Neuromonics and Musician's Earplugs.
The problem remains that they do not know why I am having difficulty hearing and why I have the feeling of fluid in my ears. My eardrums are clear and so are the ear canals. I see the Primary Doctor tomorrow so hopefully he will have a better answer. At least I can relax a little knowing that my hearing isn't drastically different.
I had lost about 5 decibels, but the most significant thing was the tinnitus. It was horrible during the test. I almost couldn't tell if it was the next sound from the machine or the ringing in my head. It does make me wonder how much it is affecting my hearing.
