So in addition to having what I suspect are migraines, I am not getting repeated sharp pains in the side of my head. I've logged them and unless someone can explian what it could be, I guess I will go to the doctor. I need to go for other reasons anyway.

I found out today about two of my students. I actually started crying for one of them. One has Asperger's Syndrome, hears voices, is bi-polar, ADHD, history of abuse, poverty, and unsupportive home environment. The other is completely withdrawn and pulls her hair out at times, doesn't want friends, changed after a babysitter watched the kids for a while, father is incredibly mean and angry and mother is very negative but totally meek to the father. Both of these students love music. In fact the first one's class made postcards to their parents and all he wrote about was how he was happy to be back in my class.

I don't want to have to call SRS again, but if I see or hear something I will have to report it. I am very worried about both, but the first student has people working outside of the home to help, the second student does not. I am very concerned about the second situation.

And if my boss questions my teaching or effort again I am very likely to not only "bite the hand that feeds me" but to bite her ass and not care what consequences come of it. I am considering going to graduate school in Child Psychology or a Linguistic based degree. I haven't decided yet though, so who knows. I should probably look into taking the GRE but honestly I'm too tired right now to deal with much of anything.

WOOT! On the biting of her ass. She just go and get herself knocked up (or out? heh). :P

And sad to hear abt yr students. Children always suffer the most... no matter what happens. Pls call the SRS if you sense something is not right; some pple just don't deserve/shdn't become parents. I truly believe this.

I'm legally, as well as emotionally, bound to call SRS if I see or hear something. Unfortunately I have not seen or heard anything for me to call about. I only know something is not right, but it could just as easily be a situation for a SIT team and IEP plan as SRS.
