Headaches are Not Conducive to Sleep

Yesterday was a cough, tonight it's a sinus headache...although it's technically not night anymore. Which is frustrating as I go back to school Wednesday and can't be up all night like this. I took something for it and hopefully I can get a few more hours of sleep. When I have fallen asleep it has been hazy Lord of the Rings induced dreams. I'm rereading it again--I got a paperback edition of it so I don't have to carry my leather-bound collector's edition around. If you want to know, and because I am that much of a LotR dork, it's the red one designed after the Red Book of Westmarch.

I also have a silk screen printing of the map of Middle Earth and two auto decals, one Tolkien's symbol and the other simply stating "Frodo lives." Oh, and a beloved T-shirt that says "Frodo Lives" and a rather large movie poster of Frodo and Gandalf in the mines of Moria with the quote:

"I wish the ring had never come to me...I wish none of this had happened."

"So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

I may not fangirl over anime/manga but I certainly do over Tolkien and Lord of the Rings. And that's not to say I don't have my anime/manga interests, canon and non-canon, and favorite pairings...and read my fair share of fanfiction and doujinshi and spend entirely too much time in forums. But I probably wouldn't buy collector's editions of the manga/anime if they came out...just stick to the original. Although I have purchased a few artbooks, mostly so I can try to redraw the characters and I do love some of the artwork--particularly CLAMP's. So...maybe I am a fangirl, just not over the top obsessing fangirl. Although I would love to go to another anime/manga convention. Or a LotR one!
